Experts generally recommend that adults should get at least 7 to 8 of sleep per night but many of us get much less. Having a lack of sleep affects our lives in a huge number of ways. It impacts on our health, makes us less productive, and makes us more prone to accidents.
When we have a lack of sleep we don’t perform to our full potential, and without sleep we literally couldn’t survive. But somehow, sacrificing sleep for work commitments has become the fashionable norm.
